hi. i am paul fenix. i am a 33 year old judo instructor from orlando. i have won various competitions and contests over the years, but my career was cut short from an injury inflicted by my best friend and fellow fighter, ken. during one competition, we were placed in the same card. when we were about to fight, i hesitated a takedown, which ken reversed and thus broke my lower spine. it’s a miracle i wasn’t paralyzed though i could never fight competitively ever again lest i be completely paralyzed or die even. so i teach. it is very frustrating for me since i was at the peak of my career then when it all came crashing down. i decided to make a blog so i could release all my pent up rage. through words now not through actions. sad really. but that;s the way the cookie crumbles.
